Barnes & van Vuuren have, for more than 20 years in some capacity or another, been involved in developing database application software linked with document generation for the South African and Namibian market. The members, having identified a need for smaller, more user friendly applications, founded this firm with the view to develop, distribute and support programs not being catered for by off-the-shelf software vendors. We are committed to keep in touch with the latest development tools and technology so as to provide the end user with the best possible solutions. Our products are highly specialised and cater for Attorneys, Accountants, Liquidators and Trust Companies and are based on the laws of South Africa and Namibia. Our products deal with Insolvency Law (LegalEase Insolvent Estates), Estates Administration Law (LegalEase Deceased Estates), Company Law (LegalEase Company Forms), Administrations in terms of Section 74 of the Magistrates' Court Act (LegalEase Admin Orders) and a Forms Filler allowing you to design database sets, link documents to it and create the opportunity to cover those parts of your business for which there isn't software available. We develop Windows(r)-based, multiuser, LAN and WAN applications and browser-based Java applications. Database back-ends, besides the self-contained native drivers, include MS SQL and Oracle. Clients have the option to select any of these database back-ends depending on their IT requirements. Clients purchase the "vanilla" version of any of our products and then has the option to customise it to suit their preferences. To name all our clients will fill another few web pages! So allow us to name just a few large companies like Standard Executors and Trustees, BoE Trust, Old Mutual Trust, PricewaterhouseCoopers, FedTrust, Sentinel International and Sanlam Trust. Then a couple of smaller firms like Bregman Mitchley Attorneys; Malherbe, Rigg & Ranwell; Rynhart Kruger Attorneys; P.A. Coetzee Attorneys; Fordham & Oshry Auditors and Abramowitz Schulenkowski & Associates. You are, obviously, welcome to call us for a contact person and telephone number at these client in order to obtain an independent view on the program and our after-sales support! |
